Away from the Mic, I live in Brighton, have 2 teenage daughters who are great & I love to bits. I’m one of 5 brothers and sisters, we were born and brought up in Ealing, London in the house where my parents still live. My brothers and sisters all get on really well and see as much as we can of each other despite having spread out to places like Bristol, Northampton, High Wycombe and Frimley.
I try and spend as much leisure time as possible on the water on our Jet Ski which is kept at Sussex Marine Watersports at Shoreham Harbour, www.jetbikes.com
or sailing as part of the ‘Neilson Redeye’ crew at Cowes Week, the Round The Island Race and other events. Check out Neilson Active Holidays website at www.neilson.co.uk Great if you love the water, the snow or lounging by the pool.

For fitness it’s regular squash with my mates Paul & Chris – plus 5-a-side football, and recently I’ve re-discovered my love of cycling and bought a new SCOTT mountain bike so it’s up the downs a lot and through the forests with my brother near his house in Surrey. Also, I’ll be cycling to the BBC studios in Brighton (but probably drive to the Guildford studios!)

Theatre, movies and live music take up many evenings. Favourite gig of 2008 was Mark Ronson the day after his big Brits win last year it was just awesome. Jools Holland’s pre-Christmas show was as brilliant as ever and I’ve already bought my tickets to see Michael McIntyre on my birthday 5th November at the Brighton Centre. Kids & I think he’s great.

Finally, thanks to Jonny @ Blue Drum Partnership for building this site for me.
